Most of MC is occupied by the main workspace where you can manage the various components of the Configuration tree. The majority of configuration tasks are performed here. The contents of this pane depends on which component you select in the configuration tree.

You can add new administratice components to the host at the bottom part of the main workspace.

If you select a different Host in the Configuration tree, the contents of the main workspace change too.
