12.4.4. Procedure – Converting a host to a cluster

Existing PNS hosts can also be converted into a cluster relatively easily. In this case the PNS host will be converted into a node of the new cluster.

Warning

When a host is converted into a cluster, it retains all parameters that were set explicitely on the host. These parameters have to be replaced with links manually if needed. Typically, properties have to be created and links used for the hostname, IP address , and the interface parameters.

  1. Select the host you want to convert to a cluster.

  2. Select the Convert Host to Cluster in the Management menu.

  3. Enter a name for the cluster.
