Instance parameters can be set on the tabs of the window. The tab has the following parameters:

Modify these settings only if you are completely aware of the necessary details, because bad configuration of rights can prevent Application-level Gateway from starting. |
: Run Application-level Gateway as this user. By default, Application-level Gateway runs as the normal user
vela.: Run Application-level Gateway as a member of this group.
: Change root to this directory before reading the configuration file.
: It is a whitespace-separated list of capability names to replace the ambient capability set of firewall processes.
