12.5.3. Configuring Heartbeat

To configure the Heartbeat component, add it to the cluster first.

Note
The Heartbeat component can monitor multiple nodes, however, the Heartbeat MC component currently (version 3.4) supports only two nodes. It is possible to create and manage clusters containing three or more nodes in PNS, but the Heartbeat configuration file has to be edited and managed manually in this case.
