For proxying HTTPS connections, a properly configured HTTP proxy is required. The HTTP proxy will handle the external TLS connection and analyze the HTTP traffic embedded into the encrypted TLS channel. Two basic scenarios — a transparent and a non-transparent one — will be discussed.
